Excellent Customer Service

Here is a review of Subaru of Gwinnett sent to us in an email from one of our service customers:

Hey Terry,

Good seeing you and the rest of the Subaru Gwinnett team today. I wanted to let you know that Jill in the service department gave some excellent customer service today - I had to reschedule my service appointment and Jill was happy to change the time. When we got to the Service area she was waiting and greeted us in a very pleasant manner and helped me out with getting a service guide that I can follow for future service appointments. Also, she asked us if we wanted something to drink and got us a Coke out of the vending machine while we were up front taking about the World Cup.

All of this might seem like regular customer service, but as a customer it makes a difference and means that I will be going back for my Forester service needs - a pleasant experience makes a difference.

Please thank Jill for me and looking forward to seeing you all at the 6k mark (in another six months? haha!)

Sincerely,

-Tony

Subaru of Gwinnett Reviews

The online market place is now a crucial part of every car dealership's business model. An increasingly important facet of the online market is online reviews of your business.

It seems like it is human nature to want to tell everyone when we are unhappy with something or someone, but we don't often exhibit that same passion or zeal when we are pleased with your experience. We might tell a few friends or family members about our pleasant experience, but we don't often reach out to the world wide web to spread the good news. As a result, many businesses end up with more negative reviews than positive reviews online. It doesn't mean that more of your customers are unhappy because let's face it--if you had more unhappy customers than happy customers then you wouldn't be in business! But nevertheless, the negative reviews can oftentimes outnumber the positives...UNLESS, you ask your loyal customers for reviews.

So that is what we are doing here at Subaru of Gwinnett! We know that the majority of our customers are happy and loyal repeat customers. There are a few that may end up less than pleased, for whatever reason, but I assure you, we go to great lengths to be sure that all of our customers have a positive experience in our dealership. I am confident that most of our customers could share a story about an enjoyable experience here at Subaru of Gwinnett in a review of the dealership. So with that being said, we are asking you, our loyal Subaru of Gwinnett customers, to let the world know your review of our store. You could review service, parts, or sales, but please be honest and let us know how we are doing! We are dedicated to making sure that we do everything we can to please our customers, so feedback is important to us!

We will be taking down your name with each review and entering it into a monthly drawing for a $75 gas card, courtesy of Subaru of Gwinnett! There are a number of sites on the internet where you can review our dealership. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!

Subaru Owner Spotlight

Beginning this month, we will feature a testimonial from a Subaru customer about why they love their Subaru! Since it's a new feature on our blog, we are starting off this month with our receptionist, Brandy Thompson, explaining why she is a loyal Subaru customer.

In Brandy's own words:

I bought my first Subaru Legacy in July of 08. I took one for a test drive, not really looking to purchase one, but the AWD Legacy just blew my other car (a 2006 Pontiac G6) out of the water. It was a much smoother ride and I actually enjoyed driving it. After the test drive, I was sold! I bought my white Legacy a few days later. I never really felt safe driving in the rain in my Pontiac G6 but with my Legacy I have never felt safer.

I just purchased a new 2010 Legacy and I am loving the new body style and how much roomier it is. The one thing I will say is that my 2010 Legacy is much more luxurious looking on the inside than my old 2008; the inside was just a little plain to me in my 2008. It was functional and nice, don't get me wrong, but the new 2010 feels much more luxurious to me! I had the option to get seat warmers in my new car and it was probably the best decision I could have made--it makes it much more comfortable to ride in on those chilly days. I got the Ruby Red Pearl color this time and I love it! I can't imagine myself driving anything other than a Subaru!

Back to School Back Pack Program

The Back to School Back Pack Program is a non-profit charitable company created in 2007 by Steve Kendrick. Steve founded the charity out of a desire to give to those who are in need; especially the innocent victims that are unable to help themselves. He noticed how much pride a child associates with his or her personal belongings, especially a backpack, and from there the Program was born. The Program is now in its fourth year and provides backpacks filled with basic hygiene products and school supplies to many of the homeless children in Gwinnett County. As a dealership and with the help of members of our community, we work together to raise funds for our program. We also take a hands-on approach as we stuff each backpack ourselves. In our first three years, we purchased and stuffed almost 4,500 backpacks for homeless children of all ages in Gwinnett County.

Some of the organizations that benefited from our first two years of donating are Gwinnett Children's Shelter, DFCS, IMPACT, Norcross Co-Op, PADV, the Gwinnett County School Social Services, and the Salvation Army. As an organization, we strongly desire to help those in need and hope to offer a positive action in the lives of the children we help.

If you'd like to get involved, there are a number of ways you can contribute to our foundation. Our fundraising efforts begin with our Wine tasting and Shoe event on June 17th at Infiniti of Gwinnett & our Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010 at the Hamilton Golf Club. From now until August, we will be selling raffle tickets for a week-long cruise across the Eastern Carribean! You can get more details on these events at our webpage:

Thank you for helping us to help the most innocent victims in our area.
